Cookie policy

How ftriplet.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Cookie policy explains how Ftriplet LLC (“FtripleT”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on ftriplet.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy policy, which describes the personal information we collect and how we use it.

This policy applies to the Site only. Our products, including AJALA at ajalatrvl.com, have their own cookie and privacy policies.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device so that it can recognise your browser on later visits or across pages. Cookies set by us are “first-party” cookies; cookies set by other companies through our Site are “third-party” cookies.

Similar technologies include browser local storage, which works like a cookie but is only readable by the website that set it, and is never sent to a server. We use local storage for your theme and your cookie choice.

Cookies can be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.

3. The cookies and storage we use

We keep the list short. The Site has no accounts, no payments and no advertising, so it needs very little.

NameSet byPurposeCategoryDuration
fttt-consentFtripleT (local storage)Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every visit.Strictly necessary12 months, then we ask again
fttt-modeFtripleT (local storage)Remembers your light or dark theme choice from the header toggle.Strictly necessaryUntil you clear your browser data
_gaGoogle AnalyticsDistinguishes one visitor from another using a random identifier. Does not contain your name or email address.Analytics (requires your consent)2 years
_ga_<id>Google AnalyticsKeeps the state of your current visit (session) so that pages viewed in one visit are counted together.Analytics (requires your consent)2 years

Strictly necessary storage is needed for the Site to work the way you asked it to, including honouring your cookie choice. It does not identify you and does not require consent.

Analytics cookies are optional. They are only set if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner or turn analytics on in the settings below.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages are viewed, how long they are viewed for, roughly where visitors come from, what kind of device and browser they use, and how they arrived at the Site. We use this to improve the Site and to understand interest in our products.

Specifically:

  • We load Google Analytics in a mode where analytics storage is denied by default. Until you accept, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless, aggregated signals that cannot be linked to you across visits.
  • Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Location is derived from the IP address during collection and the address is then discarded.
  • We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or user-level profiling, and we have not enabled Google Signals.
  • Google retains event-level data for us for up to 14 months. Aggregated reports may be kept for longer.
  • Google processes this data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can also stop Google Analytics on every website you visit by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Your choices

When you first visit the Site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing optional is set until you choose. You can change your mind at any time here:

Your current choice: …. You can change it here at any time.

If you reject analytics cookies, the Site works exactly the same. We simply will not know you visited.

You can also control cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and block local storage, through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the Site cannot remember your theme or your cookie choice, so the banner will appear on every visit.

Instructions for common browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.

6. Third-party sites

The Site links to other websites, including AJALA at ajalatrvl.com and the email, map or social services you may choose to open. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. Please read their policies before using them.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change, for example if we add a newsletter provider or a new analytics tool. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change means we need your consent again, the banner will ask you again.
